Looking cute

The kids looked so cute last sunday for church I wanted to post these pics so you all could see. Owen looked like a little golfer in his polo and dress pants. And maggie loved her hat that matched her dress. (Compliments of Lisa!! Thanks)

GETTING SO BIG

It is so hard to believe that Maggie will be turning 2 in a few weeks. The time has gone by way too fast. Owen is almost 3 months and has already changed so much. He is so alert and smiles and laughs so easily. Although I am tierd at the end of my days, I wouldn't trade this job, or this time with my babies, for anything in the world. I am enjoying all of it!

Chef Maggie

Maggie has been very into helping me cook and bake latley. (Thanks to her Mimi letting her bake banana bread while I was in the hospital having Owen). Thanks mom!! :) Anyhow, she loves stirring and pouring whatever we are making.













 But no matter what it is it always ends the same way......time for a bath!!











Owen just usually watches us or naps in his swing while we bake!!

CATCHING UP

I am starting this blog so that all our friends and family can keep up with us way out here in Illinois. We had such a fun summer and the highlight was our baby boy, Owen Nickolas, joining our family in July. Maggie is a natural at being a big sister. She loves holding Owen and "helping" mommy with all his needs. He is very fond of her too. He watches her constantly and always turns to her voice. It is really cute. Maggie has had lots of visitors to keep her company the past few months so that has been a huge help to me. She also spent alot of her summer playing outside with friends. We are now getting ready for fall/winter and are so excited for Maggie's 2nd birthday coming up.
