Josie had her 4th birthday party today. She was so cute about it because she was so excited and very into all the decorations, cakes, etc. She adores the book Pinkalicious right now and has Maggie read it to her pretty much every night. So when it came time to plan her birthday party awhile back she knew immedietly that she wanted a Pinkalcious birthday party. This worked great for me as it made my part pretty easy.......Pinkalicious cupcakes!
I made a giant cupcake like the one in the book and also made lots of smaller ones that were the same.

They looked so cute and Josie was beside herself when she saw them. She kept saying, "mommy,,,,,they are JUST like Pinkalicious's cupcakes!!!" I had a job all morning keeping her hands off of them!
I was so happy she loved it as that is my goal each year when my kids see their cakes I make.....I want it to be just what they have in their minds.
She happily posed with her cake for me.....

Her adorable Pinkalicious shirt was made by a childhood friend of mine and turned out so cute......along with the adorable 4 candle hairclip she sent!

And I just love this picture of her, she is so stinking cute.....but looks so much like a 4 year old here.

We had some pink finger foods........

And pink decorations......

She couldn't wait for everyone to get there. She had a good turn out, especially since it's in January and we never know how the weather will turn out! Both of her uncles, Matt and Isaac, and their wives/wives to be....Stacy and Becca were there. MiMi and JaJa, and Patti K and Uncle Jim....Josie was so happy to see PK! And of course all her buddies from around here.
Josie and her best buddy Molly.....

Thank goodness for Isaac......Owen always is glad to have him in the midst of all the girls!

Josie was so cute while everyone was singing happy birthday. It was just like she was enjoying her moment.

And did a great job blowing out all four of her candles!

After everyone enjoyed their cake and treats...

we moved onto a game. This was a very impromptu game of pin the cherry on the cupcake. I had planned to get one online that I saw awhile back that was so cute. Well, I never did and decided to just not do the game.....until a day before when Maggie asked me where it was. She was all worried about Josie not having the game so we threw togehter a foam cupcake and foam cherry stickers......viola!!! Perfect game. "

I am thinking as the kids get older there are a few more "peeks" during this so I have decided for future parties I am going to have a age cut off.....that way a little kid will get to win the prize possibly!
We moved along to opening gifts after that and Josie loved all her toys. Lots of Lala Loopsys and horse toys, which thrilled her.

I had to get my usual picture of all the kids together.....trying to get all 11 of them looking/smiling at the same time was pretty much pointless as you can see.

Josie had a great birthday and loved having everyone come celebrate with her. Can't believe she is 4!!
