My thing...

So everyone knows I LOVE my kids to match. A friend of mine jokes that someday when I am old my kids are going to all all each other before coming over and ask waht each one is wearing so that they can all match. haha......yes, that would probably make me happy even at 80!

So I have found some new online places in the past few months to buy some adorable clothes that not only match but can be monogrammed with the kids names on them!!

Yep....this is right up my ally! Hey, everybody has some weird quirky thing right......I guess this is mine!

Happy 4th birthday josie!

My goodness time flys when you are having fun. And fun is definetly what Josie is full of......with a tad of drama. haha I cannot believe it has been 4 years today since my 3rd baby was born.

Josie has grown up so much over the past year. She has become a very happy go lucky easy going girl most of the time. (NOT all the time though) She has also started shwoing a super sweet side that she has and is a major cuddle bug.

She was so cute doing pictures this year. This is the first year that was really enjoyable with her, as ususally I am pulling out every trick to get her to smile for me. But she was loving all the attention this year.

And posing all on her own.....

She is very funny too and loves to tell jokes

She still speaks her mind very well though

And if you catch her in a "mood" dont even bother trying to get her to talk!

She is all things girly and pink

And is pretty sure she is a true princess....

We all love this little girl like crazy.....drama and all

So happy 4th birthday to our adorable little Josie Elizabeth..

We couldn't love you anymore than we do!!!

A 'Pinkalicious" 4th birhday party!!!!

Josie had her 4th birthday party today. She was so cute about it because she was so excited and very into all the decorations, cakes, etc. She adores the book Pinkalicious right now and has Maggie read it to her pretty much every night. So when it came time to plan her birthday party awhile back she knew immedietly that she wanted a Pinkalcious birthday party. This worked great for me as it made my part pretty easy.......Pinkalicious cupcakes!

I made a giant cupcake like the one in the book and also made lots of smaller ones that were the same.

They looked so cute and Josie was beside herself when she saw them. She kept saying, "mommy,,,,,they are JUST like Pinkalicious's cupcakes!!!" I had a job all morning keeping her hands off of them!

I was so happy she loved it as that is my goal each year when my kids see their cakes I make.....I want it to be just what they have in their minds.

She happily posed with her cake for me.....

Her adorable Pinkalicious shirt was made by a childhood friend of mine and turned out so cute......along with the adorable 4 candle hairclip she sent!

And I just love this picture of her, she is so stinking cute.....but looks so much like a 4 year old here.

We had some pink finger foods........

And pink decorations......

She couldn't wait for everyone to get there. She had a good turn out, especially since it's in January and we never know how the weather will turn out! Both of her uncles, Matt and Isaac, and their wives/wives to be....Stacy and Becca were there. MiMi and JaJa, and Patti K and Uncle Jim....Josie was so happy to see PK! And of course all her buddies from around here.

Josie and her best buddy Molly.....

Thank goodness for Isaac......Owen always is glad to have him in the midst of all the girls!

Josie was so cute while everyone was singing happy birthday. It was just like she was enjoying her moment.

And did a great job blowing out all four of her candles!

After everyone enjoyed their cake and treats...

we moved onto a game. This was a very impromptu game of pin the cherry on the cupcake. I had planned to get one online that I saw awhile back that was so cute. Well, I never did and decided to just not do the game.....until a day before when Maggie asked me where it was. She was all worried about Josie not having the game so we threw togehter a foam cupcake and foam cherry stickers......viola!!! Perfect game. "

I am thinking as the kids get older there are a few more "peeks" during this so I have decided for future parties I am going to have a age cut off.....that way a little kid will get to win the prize possibly!

We moved along to opening gifts after that and Josie loved all her toys. Lots of Lala Loopsys and horse toys, which thrilled her.

I had to get my usual picture of all the kids together.....trying to get all 11 of them looking/smiling at the same time was pretty much pointless as you can see.

Josie had a great birthday and loved having everyone come celebrate with her. Can't believe she is 4!!

Josie's preschool party

Josie celebrated her 4th birthday at preschool today. She is very into the book "Pinkalicious" right now, so for her party at school she wanted to take pinkalicious cupcake cookies. Well....of course this momma said that yes, we would take them and they would look just like her cupcakes in the book!
So after the kids all went to bed I got started on the cookies and guess what.....

THEY DID!

I was soooo happy with how they turned out, they matched the cookies in the book exactly and Josie was thrilled with them!

Josie got to wear her birthday crown for the day and had a birthday cupcake candle that she got to blow out.

Here she is with some of her friends

the all loved the cookies! Here is Josie enjoying hers.

Joe came in from work for Josie's school party which she was so happy about. He had a fun surprise for her after all the birthday stuff.....

He read the book Pinkalicous to her class

They all enjoyed it and were so cute listnening to the story.

Josie was so funny when we got there. She didn't know Joe was coming with me and when we walked in she says, "Daddy!!!! You look so fancy!!" (Joe was in his work clothes, which is what she see's him in everday so I have no idea why she thought he looked fancy but it was so cute)

Josie had a super fun birthday at school and is headed into a fun filled weekend full of Pinkalicious birthday fun! Stay tuned for lots more pink pictures.
