We had 4 different families come, and between the 5 families we had 16 kids there! Yes, it was LOUD, Yes, it was WILD, and Yes, it was FUN!!!
We had lots of yummy food as always and once we had all gotten our fill of food we played some games while the kids ran around the house and played.
The guys were a little more into ping pong this year than playing alot of games with us,
so the girls played quite a bit of bananagrams. But we did get them in on a few games.
There were kids of all ages there, so it worked out nice that everyone had someone their age to play with. And all of our kids get along really well so that made it easier on us parents to enjoy the evening too!!
The bigger girls.....
The little girls.....
And the boys didn't sit still long enough for me to get a picture of all of them!
The past few years we have missed the ball falling because we were all playing a game and the kids were all running around playing. Well this year some of the older girls set their phones to alarm and told us to tell them before it happened so they could watch. So about 10 till midnight we all headed down to the basement to watch it.
The kids counted down and the ball fell and well......I think they were a bit dissapointed. They sort of looked at us like, "that was it??"
And then they went back to spinning in chairs and twirling around!
My mom has told me that when we have get togethers to take more pictures of the adults. That someday we will want to look back and we'll laugh at how much we've changed so I am trying to do that. Here is a picture of all the adults......
And all (or most of, Emmie Jayne was in bed) of our kiddos......
Everyone headed out around 1 AM and we got the kids in bed since it was a Saturday night and Sunday morning would come early!
The whole evening was so much fun and we are so blessed with so many great friends here! Can't wait to do it again next year!
