36 weeks!

36 weeks!  At my OB appt. last week I was dialated to a 2 and 80 percent effaced and baby was about at -1 station.  So my OB thinks I will go a few more weeks and probably deliver around 38 weeks. Which sounds great to me.

I am hoping it is a delivery like Emmie's was....although Joe says he hopes we have a little more wiggle room....I would actually have to agree with him on that.

I had a scare last Friday where I was having contractions every hour (about 7-8) for several hours.  I waited awhile and drank water and rested but they kept up, so after a few hours I headed into the hospital after getting my kids to a friends house.
Of course after being at the hospital for 30 minutes they began to slow down.  I had washed all the beds (6) and made them and organized the kids closets all morning so proabably just a little dehydrated plus doing a  little too much.

When we picked the kids up Josie asked me, "so did you have the baby?  is it a boy or girl??"  And she was totally serious.  She must have thought we didn't like it and just left it at the hospital.

I have had my bags packed a few weeks but had not gotten the kids shirts made for when the baby was born!  And that was one of my thoughts as I went into the hospital on Friday.
So this week I got to work and got them all ready.  :)  I LOVE THEM!

When I showed Maggie she said, "Oh mommy....I was so worried last week when you went to the hospital because I knew these were not done and I didn't know what we were gonna wear to see the baby!
She has a lot of her mommy in her!

34 weeks and growing!

We are getting so close to meeting the newest addition to our family!  My belly is growing by leaps and bounds and the baby is about 5 lbs right now.

The baby is really low already which hopefully will make for a nice delivery when the time comes.  The head is so low that we can never see a face when I get ultrasounds!

The kids are all excited...well except Emmie who has no real clue what we are talking about when we tell her about the baby.  I am pretty sure when the baby gets here she'll get it though!  Hoping she embraces big sister role and doesn't hate not being the baby anymore.

Josie continually tells her that when the new baby comes she won't be the cutest anymore.  :)

This pregnancy has flown by and other than just being tired and nauseated a little longer than I would have liked......pretty easy.   Although after having a baby at 24 and now 35 I must say pregnancy is for young people!  It is not nearly as easy on the body at this age. . But so so so worth it.

The fun continues.....Hollywood Studios!

Our 2nd day we headed out early to Hollywood Studios.  We all had a great nights sleep and were well rested to have some more fun!  When Joe booked our room he decided instead of getting one room, to get 2 joining rooms which turned out to be the best decision ever! I don't know that we would have slept as well had we just gotten one!

As soon as we got there Joe, Maggie, and Owen headed off to ride Rock n Rollercoaster, which Josie wasn't tall enough for.  So she stuck with Emmie and I to find something fun to do.
She wasn't totally thrilled with this idea at first.

The first thing we came to was The Little Mermaid show and Josie wanted to go to that.

Emmie loves Ariel so she thought it sounded like a great idea too!

We get in to the auditorium and take our seats and as the lights go down and the music/smoky effects begin......I guess the Bugs Life show came back to Emmie.  Because she immedietly began crying and trying to leave.  She kept saying, "No No I don't want to see the bugs!!"  About the time I got her to focus on The Mermaid singing and convinced her that there were no bugs in this show the huge Ursula comes out and the room fills with smoke and scary music.  Well that was pretty much it for Em, she was out of there.  The only problem was Josie was loving it and we were right in the middle of an aisle.  So I just stuck Emmie in the floor and pushed her face against my legs so she couldn't see anything or hear alot!
Thankfully it was a short show and by the time it was over Joe and the big kids were back to meet up with us.

Joe took them off to ride Tower of Terror and I found something a little less scary for Emmie!

We went to Disney Jr. LIVE and she loved it.  Thankfully it didn't get dark or smokey!!  Lots of singing and dancing which is pretty much what makes up Emmie so she was so happy!

After the show we walked around and found a fountain that she enjoyed playing and singing around.  She put on her own musical for about a half an hour here while people watched and clapped for her.

She would run from the fountain to this light post and sing and dance while I sat nearby watching.  She was over at this post awhile when a large group  of people walked by and were watching her.  They walked over and asked her where he mom or dad were....to which she busted out in song...."overrrrr thereeee."  and pointed to me.  It was pretty funny!

If Emmie wasn't singing and dancing she was doing her next favorite thing at the parks....

trading her pins!

Emmie Jayne thought this was so much fun!  And she didn't really care what pins someone had or what she traded......she was going to trade with every person she came to!

She traded some really good pins for....well let's just say some crappy ones!
But although it stressed her siblings out a bit she was just as happy with the weird clown pin as she was the beautiful Minnie Mouse pin!

We all met up again to eat some lunch and than headed off to ride the Toy Story ride together.
This was the only ride that was a long wait the whole trip....but we had gotten a fast pass that morning so we only had to wait about 5 minutes to get onto it.

And Disney does such a great job at everything so there are always fun things to check out while waiting in lines which makes it not so bad!

The kids got their 3D glasses....I wasn't sure if this was going to bring back Bugs Life to Emmie again but she seemed pretty excited about the ride!  So I guess it didn't.

Josie and Joe all ready to play!

Emmie insisting she was winning the whole time.

I am sure there was some fierce competition between these two...

This ride was a favorite for all the kids....and I liked it but found it a little more bumpy/jerky than I would have preferred while being pregnant!

It was pretty hot outside so we headed over to the Honey I shrunk the kids play area to take a break from the sun for a bit.

This proved to be a winner for Emmie Jayne.  Although keeping up with her was quite a challange.......at least it appeared to be from where I was sitting and watching Joe chase her around!  LOL

Owen liked all the climbing in this area as well...

Joe making Emmie sit for a quick break!

Maggie took a turn keeping up with Emmie Jayne

And she found a great place to take her....

Emmie slid over and over and over!

All of the kids on the giant ant!

The girls and I went to watch Beauty and the Beast while we sent Joe and Owen off to get us some treats!

They all loved this show!

And the girls were happy with their ice cream afterwards!

We headed over to the stunt show next.  I wish I had taken a picture of the flight of stairs we had to climb to get to the very top.
It didn't seem so horrible as we started up them but by the time we reached the top I thought I may have thrown myself in to labor!

The kids all liked this alot and it was really neat.
But Owen was beyond liking this.  He LOVED it.  I mean, racing cars, men on fire jumping off buildings and shooting guns at each other
What would a little boy not love about that!

(and yes, as you can see Maggie was quite concerned about the guy on fire)

We headed back over to Rock n Roller coaster for the big kids to ride again...

And Josie insisted on seeing if she was tall enough one more time to ride....
but was sad to see she hadn't grown since earlier that morning!

Owen was all set to ride!

These two girls looking cute while we wait...

When they got off rock n roller coaster we had 2 more fast passes for tower of terror.....

and Josie was the winner who got to go ride it!

This girls is crazy...this was her favorite ride of all of them!

When they got done Joe took Maggie back to use 2 fast passes we found for Rock n Roller coaster so me and the other 3 kiddos just relaxed and took a break.

And Owen and Emmie Jayne entertained each other with crazy faces....

Em thought Owen was pretty impressive ...

while Josie just took some time to model for me....

The park closed at 10, which is when the last show of Fantasmic was starting.  Joe and Owen didn't feel like staying to watch it and with it being dark and smokey we weren't sure if Emmie Jayne was going to be a fan.  But the girls and I really like it and wanted to go watch it so Joe took Owen and Em to the van while we went to watch the show..

As we began the long walk back to where it is shown I started having some contractions.  Nothing major...but enough that I was pretty uncomfortable.

So when we got the the stadium area and I saw that we were going to have to walk to the very (far) other end and down a huge flight of steps I stopped one of the Disney workers and asked if there was anyway we could sit closer. (and tried to look as preggo as possible).
Well had I known how accommodating they are I would have pulled this trick out sooner...because he walked us past a rope right in the center and sat us down in some pretty awesome seats.

and we enjoyed the show!

And were first out when it was over!

We got back to our rooms and all hopped in the showers to get cleaned up.  When I came out I found Emmie in bed sound asleep....

I guess this is what 2 straight days at Disney does to you!
