KINGS ISLAND!

We went to Kings Island this past weekend with our friends, Jeff, Sheila, and their 4 kids. We all had such a great time, the weather was perfect and it was not busy at all. They close some of the park at 6 which is when it turns into a haunted theme and that is what it got really busy. So during the day it was great, we didn't wait much at all in any lines. The kids loved all the rides and Owen was thrilled that this year he made the height requirments for several of the bigger rides. They all rode everything they were tall enough for. Maggie and Owen are both going to be roller coaster riders! Joe and I got in a few roller coasters as well since Sheila doesn't ride and was kind enough to sit with Josie while I rode the coasters with her girls some!

This was Owen's first time on this as he wasn't tall enough last year.























He was so excited and loved it.

Josie was a champ all day and stayed in the stroller for about 6 and a half of the 7 hours we were there.









She probably ate her weight in snacks, but she was happy!




































Towards the end of the day we took them over to the small rides and let her have a try. She loved the Nick-o-round








































and the diego cars.































We then put her on the "swiper's sweepers" with Maggie. This was like "the whip" ride when I was younger.


























Well, she was soooo excited waiting for the ride to start. It was so cute.


The ride began and the first whip around a corner threw her against the side and from her face Joe and I thought it was going to be bad.....like stop the ride bad.





























But being the great big sis Maggie is she grabbed her and held onto her and from then on Josie was all smiles and cracked up as they went around the corners. Here they are waiting to go on it a second time.


































The kids all wanted to get their faces painted so we let them and Maggie picked a cat, Owen picked spiderman.



















These people do such a great job I thought, and are so quick at it. I am going to attempt to do Maggie's face like this for trunk or treat since she is being a white cat.

































































The kids all did great together, which I had no doubts about. They all play so well and had fun riding the rides with each other.
