Playing in the Hay

I love all 4 seasons and am always glad to see each of them come, and go....but I do believe Fall is my very favorite one. And now that it is here again we didn't waste anytime getting out to Gallrein's Farm for the kids to play. I have taken them a few times after school for about an hour but they have been wanting to go with their friends.

So the week of Fall Break we headed out there with our friends Shannon, Kylie, Bella, and Molly. They have recently moved out of our neighborhood and we are all so sad about it and miss them already. Not that we really see them any less, I just loved having them right down the street.

The kids love climbing on the hay stacks and even Josie and Molly got in on it this year.

They also love the hay pit and of course throwing hay at everyone.

It is nice getting the kids out their early in the season before the hay gets all nasty!

Here are all 6 of our kiddos taking a quick break so we could get their picture.

Our kids all play so well together and have so much fun.

Kylie and Maggie are the furthest apart in age (about 2 years) but you would never know it watching them play.

Bella and Owen are just 3 months apart and "love" each other so they say.

And Molly and Josie just 2 months apart...and we aren't quite sure how they feel about one another yet! They seem to have a love/hate relationship. haha.

I gave in and let them go to the petting zoo area and feed some animals before we left. Owen had no interest in feeding them and prefered to just toss some seed at them, but Maggie was all about feeding some goats.

She is such an animal lover.....total opposite of her mommy, and dad!

We didn't get any pumpkins this day so we plan to head back out here this weekend with Joe to pick some from the pumpkin patch.
After playing at the farm we headed out to lunch at McDonalds. Maggie only had 2 days off for Fall break so Tuesday we just stayed home and made it a jammie day. Her friend Zoe in her class is the only other girl in her K class, and she was gone on vacation all week. So it broke my heart to think Maggie had to go to school all week and eat lunch with all the boys so Owen, Josie, and I went in each day and had lunch with her and stayed for recess too. She loved having us there but don't think she would have cared about eating and playing with just the boys either..it was more of a mommy thing. haha.
