Easter

We decorated easter eggs Saturday evening, with Maggie in school now it makes it harder to get things in during the week like we have always done. They all enjoyed it and were less messy than they have been before.
































































I gave Josie an egg beater and put her egg in that so she could color it without coloring her hands as well. It worked great. We had little to no messes and then Joe came up and was going to color one of Owen's eggs which resulted in this somehow.......

































Easter morning the kids woke up and found their baskets in their chairs downstairs. They were all so excited. Maggie neatly went through her basket, Owen poured it all out and Josie just tried to get as much candy out of hers as she could.
























































We got ready and went to church, the kids looked so cute and Owen decided to add his baseball cap to his outfit.






































We headed out right after church and went to WV to have Easter dinner with my family at Patti K and Jim's house. It was an absolutly perfect day. We all were there together, which is the first time since I am not sure when. The weather was gorgeous and it was just great to get to be with everyone and seeing the kids enjoy all the people I love so much too.









The kids had fun playing with TJ, Gwen, and Gracie. Jay took them on a ride in his convertible which they all thought was very cool.






































Patti K of course had an easter egg hunt for the kids and easter baskets for them all. That is just Patti K, and one of the millions of reasons I love her so much!!




























































My cousins Liv and Durell, who have a photography business, brought all their gear in and we got a picture of the entire family together which I can't wait to see. (No pressure Liv. :) Durell spent most of the day taking pictures of each family and many others as well. Thanks so much for doing that Durell and Liv!

And of course everyone enjoyed spending time with Aunt Amanda.....



















































Josie was great all day and didn't nap at all.....here she took a few minutes to love on MiMi and rest a bit.




















We all took a little break from picture taking to go hear Amanda play us some of the songs she has written latley. Look forward to hearing u on the radio in the future sis. :)




















So once again....it was an absolutly perfect Easter day. I wish we could do it more often but life doesn't always allow that. So thank you Patti and Jim for having everyone for a great day and to all my family....I love you so much and enjoyed being with you all!!
