The end of the beach trip...

This beach trip it didn't seem like Joe and Dad golfed as much as they usually do, and with having Emmie Jayne this year....along with the other 3 turned out to be a good thing. We spent most of our days on the beach and I was of course always trying to get that "perfect picture" of my 4 kids. I am almost to the conclusion that it is impossible. But I must say this picture of Josie and Maggie comes really close.




These two are the bestest of friends and I hope as they grow up they stay that way!

MiMi joined in the photo shoot in hopes of luring her back in, which rarely works with Josie.

Our last day on the beach Emmie Jayne finally put on her swimsuit. This is how she spent her day on the beach.

I laid Emmie Jayne on this raft to get her picture and was so busy taking the picture that I didn't notice a huge wave coming up right at her.
Thankfully mom saw it and picked her up right as the raft got washed up shore!

Our last night we always eat at Bovines for dinner, this is usually one of our favorite meals. The kids got dressed and looked totally adorable. I attempted to get some pictures out on the beach but it was soooo windy that it didn't work out so well.












We were all disapointed in Bovines this year. We have come here for years and it is always one of the best meals.....but they had changed a bit this year and not for the better. It was still good...just not as good as it once was, as Toby Keith would put it!

Josie and Owen enjoyed their filets....I share with Josie and Joe with Owen, which results in us not getting all the much steak! Those two are little carnivores!

After dinner we headed to Broadway at the Beach and let the kids go to Build a Bear. They got bags to carry them around in and thought that was so cool. This was Josie's first trip to build a bear and it took her FOREVER to choose which animal she wanted. She finally settled on the tiger and it was so cute when she was making hers, the girl told her to give it a hug and kiss and Josie goes up to the lady and tried to give her a hug and kiss. hahaha... She named her tiger, Eddie. Not sure how JaJa got the tiger named after him!
