Fall has gotten here and one of our favorite things about Fall is heading out to Gallrein Farms here in Shelbyville and playing in the hay, and picking pumpkins. It was so nice out this weekend so Joe and I loaded up the kids, all decked out in their orange of course, to enjoy the nice weather.
The kids loved playing and jumping around on the hay.....
they love for me to take their picture jumping in the hay
We didn't get to take a ride to the pumpkin patch as the weren't having hay rides this day...but I am sure between school and trips here with friends this month we will have more pumpkins than we need!
Maggie helped me pick out a few gourds and baby pumpkins to put around the house.
We let them feed some animals at the petting zoo....although Joe and Maggie were the only ones who did that. Josie and Owen are not too fond of getting within arms length of the animals. :)
The kids all picked out a treat inside...Josie as you can tell picked fruit punch...nice huh.
Owen couldn't wait to eat his pixie stick...
The kids all enjoyed the day and we grabbed some lunch on the way home so everyone could rest. Tonight we are headed into Lousiville Zoo to take the kids trick or treating there. Should be fun!
