We headed out early and drove to Orlando for our first Disney Day. Day one was Hollywood Studios. Owen was excited as there is alot of stuff there he likes and the last time we were there he was really sick and didn't get to enjoy it much.
Maggie and Owen were all ready for pin trading....which turned out to be one of the funnest things to them the whole week!
Emmie Jayne started her first day of disney ....napping.
I am so blessed with great nappers that can sleep on a beach, in a stroller, on a plane..... although emmie is my worst sleeper of the 4 of them, I still can't complain!
We headed straight for tower of terror when we got there. We had an awesome week that was not busy so there were not wait times for anything. Maggie rode this last time we were here but Owen wasn't tall enough than, so this was his first time. Here they are in line before getting on.
They both liked it but neither wanted to do it again! Maggie says that is the one ride she wants to do each time, but only once!
There wasn't a whole lot that Emmie and Josie could do as far as rides go, but they enjoyed all of the shows. Mom, Dad, and JOe had the older kids off on a ride while Emmie and I took a milk break......this was before noon and she was already quite a mess. Hey, what is disney if you can't eat lots of yummy treats!
Josie and Emmie Jayne both loved the "honey i shrunk the kids" play area.
We had a early dinner at Mama Melrose's which was pretty good. The kids loved their desserts. Owen and Josie got spaghetti and meatball cupcakes. Maggie played it safe with ice cream.
After dinner and a few more rides Joe and I took Maggie adn Owen over to Rockin Roller coaster. Joe and I love this last time but none of the kids were tall enough, so we knew maggie was tall enough now but not sure about Owen. Well, turns out he wasn't....he was a good bit below the height requirement. We walked away and Joe has a brillliant idea.....he takes his socks off and stuffs them into Owen's shoes and we go back to try again.....and yes, he was actually OVER the line now! So off we went to ride!
Here we are right before getting on. Both of them were nervous! This was their first tieme riding a roller coaster upside down!
They both loved it, but Owen thought it was pretty intense....I think he disliked the loudness more than the ride itself.
They posed for a quick shot in front of it before we headed over to get our seats for Fantasmic..
We got front row seats for the Fantasmic show, which is like a big light show over the water. It was really neat and the kids loved it. Even Emmie Jayne sat still through the whole thing and watched. We got back to our hotel around 11 or so and everyone went straight to bed so we would be well rested for Magic Kingdom the next morning!
