We get a nice Christmas break this year. The kids don't go back until Jan. 6th and we are taking full advantage of not having to get up early in the mornings!
It took about a week for everyone to get into the "don't get up early" mode (specifically Emmie) but once they got it man did they get it!
Our normal wake up has been 9:30 - 10 (Maggie's is more like noon). We haven't gotten out alot.....the kids have prefered to stay home in their PJ's and play...so that is what we have done.
There has been LOTS of singing and playing.....they have all gotten along really well and bounced from playing Lego's to Ninja's to princess/prince. (Owen adapts to whatever most of the time...he will be a graet husband someday. :)
Yesterday evening they decided to play mario on the Wii..........all of them.
It was pretty funny to watch and they all had their own idea of how it should go...
Owen thought they should beat every board and constantly ran ahead of the girls....which resulted in them dying.
Josie often had this look.....tears typically followed... :)
And Emmie Jayne just lauged and giggled...thinking she was playing even when she wasn't holding a controller. Which got the rest of them laughing...
Which could be my favorite noise on this earth!
Goodness my kids are loud....like really loud....as in much louder than that average child loud
but I coud listen to their laughter.....even really loud laughter.... all day.
Especially when they are all together laughing and just enjoying being together.
I hope and pray that they always enjoy each other...and laugh together.
And when they are old enough to look at this blog someday....I want them to know how much joy thier laughter always brought me. :)

I love that Maggie sleeps in like the rest of us! And families laughing is as good as it gets
