New Years Eve

We had a much smaller New Years than we typically do this year . We were actually supposed to be away....on a surprise Christmas trip that shall be revealed later since we had to postpone it due to us all getting the flu/sick through Christmas break.  

So we had not planned on having a New Years Eve party this year, but when we realized we were going to be home, and everyone finally got better we just decided to keep it small.  We ordered PF changs and played games until around 1 am.  

The kids all had fun playing......in fact we didn't even see them much.....we HEARD them. though. :)  

We have a bad history of missing the ball drop every year as we are all busy and forget about it.  So this year the kids all kept close watch on the clock and we got the TV turned on with about 1 minute to spare.

And Owen FINALLY had someone to fight swords play "boy" things with.  He has waited all break for this!

And all of the kiddos made it past midnight....This was Josie around 1:30am.....although I am not for sure if she was really out or half faking.  She had gone to a jump zone with a friend all day so I know she had to be exhausted!!

So although our crowd was MUCH smaller than usual....it was every bit as fun!  We are so blessed with these wonderful friends and are so glad we got to bring in the New Year with them again!
